Dr Beth Pickard (she/her)
Academic Roles:
Peer Review, Editorial Work and External Examining
Beth was the External Examiner for the BA(Hons) Arts in Education degree course at Canterbury Christchurch
University from September 2020 to July 2025, and for the Nordoff & Robbins Master of Music Therapy (MMT)
programmes (accredited by Goldsmiths University) from September 2022 to July 2026.
Beth completed the Advance HE Professional Development Course for External Examiners in December 2020,
and is listed on the Advance HE database of trained practitioners here.
Beth is proud to be a member of the Unit for Development in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities at the University of South Wales.
Beth was a Visiting Fellow at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) from September 2020-July 2024 and developed the PhD by Portfolio pathway there in collaboration with Dr Clive Palmer.
